Desktop icons, fonts, screen savers and lots of other (useless you may say in other days) widgets to make your Mac terrific, horrorific … or anyway you like it!

Get some nice (free) Halloween fonts here, some desktop icons here (from Apple’s site), and a whole Mac OS X Hallo-theme here.

Easy e-bay widget: a must-have for all ebayers!

Ok, I’ll admit it: I’m a die-hard ebayer… well not actually, I just like to seek for useful (and not that much) stuff.
Retrocomputer, hardware stuff, multimedia devices and, of course, Mac stuff (just look at an iSight offering on eBay…)

Usually I have a Firefox browser tab with my eBay open, but this widget comes in really handy.

Some pluses:

As reported in some places as well as on Applenova Forum, Dashcode is expected to be released quite soon.

Has javascript debugging (breakpoints), WYSIWYG editor and more…

Dashboard widgets under Panther 10.3.x??? An Amnesty does it for you!

In fact you can run all Widgets not only (as before) under Safari, but fully stand-alone on the desktop and enjoy the same behaviour of the Tiger Mac OS X 10.4.

Ok, you’ve been using Mac OS X Tiger for a while, maybe you’ve been writing Dashboard widgets for a while or, at least, you’ve been playing with that code…

Some widgets, you may have realized, simply output HTML + CSS stuff just like any other web page, but many other are starting heavy use of low-level functions, command-line instruction and full access to local resources.

Is that correct? Are we facing some trojan-horse widget-related threat?
