In early 2007, the recently-announced Apple iTV will debut but right now we’re able to have a look at it and time to think what we will with it!
In short, could the iTV be considered just like a well-grown-up version of the Airport Express, in terms of streaming (video) content wirelessly from iTunes?
Check out for yourself: as far as it concerns myself, I’m looking forward for some smart hacking of this cool device.

Among all news and new products introduced yesterday, I’d like to highlight iTunes 7 since it features a really nice interface.
iTunes 7
Complete support for new media and contents (more on this later), some interface redesigns along with a new, blueish icon, and a brand new way of browsing through your albums.
We often hear complaints from people missing their album collection and the pleasure of browsing through CD covers: no longer should they complain about it!
iTunes 7 allows Mac and PC users to visually browse like nothing else through their albums with stunning graphics.
This FrontRow-style interface comes from a previous iTunes 6 plug-in from the guys at Steelskies: CoverFlow, the name of this plug-in has been incorporated into iTunes 7; check SteelSkies for more details on CoverFlow.

As always, great rumors and many fakes.
The truth about today’s Apple announcement is: Mac mini shifts to Intel and iPod HiFi, a three-way speaker box.
The new Mac mini with Intel processors, both Core Duo running @ 1,66 GHz or Core Solo running @ 1,5 GHz.
This is the first time ever for a Intel Core Solo processor, as far as we know.
Featuring Front Row and its remote, up to 120 GB hard drive and an Intel GMA950 GPU, the new Mac mini is the second Intel-based move in less than 60 days: quite a fast shift, even for Steve’s company.
Good job!
Looking at the box, there’s almost nothing different from the previous model, apart from the back sporting different ports and connectors.
The only ‘dark’ spot is the GMA950-based graphics card and its performance, opposed to ATI and nVidia chipsets, but in the next days plenty of benchmarks will be published about this topic.
The iPod HiFi is a speaker-boombox featuring the universal dock connector and three big speakers with a design that may be so trendy and so 70’s; remote command included.

BusinessWeek Online reports on what may be more than just a rumor: Oct. 12th may be a great announcement day for Apple.
Apple Computer has summoned journalists and analysts far and wide to an unveiling of “just one more thing.” The e-mailed invitation includes a curtain that looks suspiciously like those found in movie houses, fueling speculation that the Oct. 12 event concerns a souped-up version of the iPod that can play movies.

There’s too much news to talk about!
The iPod nano has taken the place of the iPod mini (farewell, my dear…), it’s incredibily small and is completely skip free!
A really nice flash-based model, 2- or 4 Gigabytes of memory and a color LCD.
The Motorola ROKR iTunes-enabled Phone holds about 100 songs, just like an iPod shuffle.
iTunes 5 has been announced too: it features a quite new interface, a new search feature and playlist folders.
Available for Mac … and Windows too here.
